Steve Hendricks

  • Drafted by the San Diego Padres in 1987 as an OF and 1st Baseman

  • Named 1st team All Star in Northwest Rookie League for Spokane Indians

  • Named MVP of Northwest League

  • Named Minor League Rookie of the Year for all Rookie Leagues in the country by MLB

  • Played a total of 4 years with Padres, from 1987 - 1990

  • 3 time All Star from Rookie to Double A

  • Traded to Boston Red Sox organization in 1991

  • Played 1 year Double A for New Britain Red Sox

  • 1995 and 1996 - Played in the Professional Independent Western Baseball League as a player/coach for the Grays Harbor Gulls and the Salinas Peppers

  • Lifetime batting average was .304 during 7 year professional career

  • Coached at Poway HS, in Poway CA, in 1994 and 1996 as the Varsity Hitting coach

Dennis Webb

  • Earned numerous ASA, NAFA League and Tournament titles and MVP awards including NAFA All World selection in 2002 and ASA 1st Team All American selection in 2005

  • Over 15 years experience as a volunteer assistant at Durango High School with both pitching and hitting

  • Specialize in advanced instruction for ages 14 and over with techniques in rise balls, change-ups etc. also how to work hitters, game strategy and mental approach

  • Completed the Clark County School District requirements for coaching positions
